William Anson Edwards Jr.

William Anson Edwards, Jr., age 84, of Kingman, Arizona, formerly of Concordia, KS., died Monday, November 21, 2016. William was born March 24, 1932 to William and Alice (Bisnette) Edwards at Aurora, KS.
He graduated from Concordia High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 – 1956. William received the National Defense Service Medal, China Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the Korean Service Medal.
He married Francis Linhart February 25, 1956. She preceded him in death January 18, 2011.
He was employed by the U.S. Government. One project was working on the Apollo I Space Shuttle.
Survived by: 2 granddaughters: Laurie & Patricia
2 grandsons: Jason & Jeremy
4 great granddaughters: Jazmine, Jade, Sienna & Daisy
1 brother – James of Texas
1 Aunt – Edna Hamel of Concordia, KS
Preceded in death by: wife, parents and son
Graveside Inurnment Services will be Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Concordia Catholic Cemetery – Concordia, KS., with Fr. David Metz officiating.
