Vivian Lorene Genereux, age 91, of Concordia, Kansas died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Mt. Joseph Sr. Center. She was born September 5, 1920 to Forrest and Faye (Harbaugh) Caywood at Clifton, KS.
Vivian married Arthur Genereux on March 1, 1940 at St. Joseph, KS. She was a homemaker. Vivian was a member of: Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Altar Society, American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, EU, Clyde Catholic Daughters & Jolly 17; also was an Avon representative.
Vivian is survived by six children: Larry (Jane) - Garden Dale, TX; Audrey (Cloe) Mayer - Haddam, KS; Darrell (Audrey) - Salina, KS; Gene (Barb) - Concordia, KS; Curt (Heriberta) - Concordia, KS; Charlotte (Mike) Ralston - Lincoln, NE; Twenty-three Grandchildren; twenty-six Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild; 2 sisters - Lucille Butler - Boise, Idaho; Janet Clark - Williamsburg, MO.
Vivian is preceded in death: parents, husband, 5 brothers and one sister.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 20, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with Father Barry Brinkman officiating.
Burial in St. Concordia Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 19 from 9:00 a.m. -8:00 p.m. at Nutter Mortuary Chapel. Family will receive friends 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m.
Altar Society Rosary Thursday 5:00 p.m. at Nutter Mortuary
Vigil Service Thursday 7:00 p.m. at Nutter Mortuary Memorial may be given to Altar Society or Family's choice.
