Vicki Menard

Vicki Menard age 76 of Winfield Ks, formerly of Concordia, KS, entered eternity to be with her Father in heaven, November 5, 2021. Vicki was born on March 6, 1945 to Nolan and Maxine Breault (Strait), in Concordia, KS.  Vicki worked at Scott Specialties for 25+ years as plant manager until she retired.  After retirement she worked part time at the Flower Gallery.

Vicki enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and helping with fund raisers.  She loved being involved with Neighbor to Neighbor and helping with church activities. She never turned down a request for help.  Most of all Vicki loved spending time with her Grandkids, whether it was making mud pies when they were little or teaching them to bake as they became older. She always had some kind of homemade snack around just in case someone dropped in.

On April 8th 1967 Vicki was united in marriage to Timothy Menard, until his death September 21, 2012. Vicki married Larry Atkinson on July 3rd 2020 and resided in Winfield until her death.

Vicki is survived by husband Larry Atkinson of Winfield. Siblings Anita Freitag of Idaho; Roberta and Terry Bowlby of Winfield. Sister n laws: Kay Anderson of Concordia and Elaine Breault of Wichita.

Children: Jim and Rhonda Menard of Solomon; Janell and Jackie McCafferty of Lubbock; Jodi and Frank McManus of Clay Center; Step Children David Atkinson and fiancé Tracy Cable of Winfield; Paul Atkinson of Winfield and Betty Sue Lowrimor of Winfield.

Grand Children: Ambria and Eric Gilliland; Madison and Heath Ramsey; Jessica and Rob Garcia; Trista and Jason Muise; Kyle and Shelby Newville; Justin and Molly Newville; Janae Beahan; Garrett Modlin; Kadryn McManus; Kenzlie McManus; Bryce Hartman; Brittany Hartman; Matthew Atkinson; Kayleigh Atkinson and Dillon Helton.

Vicki loved most being called Oldie Grandma by her 17 Great Grandchildren.

Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents Nolan and Maxine Breault; Late husband Timothy Menard, Son Jeffrey Humphrey, Siblings: Norma and John Alexander; Marceline and Dean McCall; Nolan Breault Jr, Brother n laws: Marvin Freitag; Roy Anderson, Great Grand Daughter Hattie Jo Gilliland

The Family will receive friends from 3:00pm – 4:00pm on Sunday November 14, 2021 with a Vigil/Recitation of the Rosary at 4:00pm -- all at Nutter Mortuary.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday November 15, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, KS at 10:00am with Father David Metz officiating.

Burial will follow at the St. Concordia Catholic Cemetery, Concordia, KS.

Memorials are suggested to Neighbor to Neighbor in care of Nutter Mortuary.
