Timothy (Tim) Bert Menard, 81, left this life on Sept. 21, 2012, to be with his Father in Heaven. He was born in Brookeville, KS Nov. 17, 1930, to Francis and Christella (Bier) Manard. Tim lived in Clyde, KS until the age of ten, then moved to Concordia where he lived the rest of his years. Following his graduation from Concordia Catholic High School, he began his 12 year employment with Seymour Packing Plant. He moved on to the Moose Lodge #1428 where he spent 37 years, gaining the highest degree within the Moose (Pilgrim). Tim married Vicki Breault on April 8, 1967, and they set up home in Concordia. Tim was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting, and camping. But most of all, he loved spending time with family.
Surviving are his wife, Vicki of Concordia, his three children: Jim Menard and wife Rhonda of Concordia, Janell Dyck and husband Loren of Derby and Jodi McManus and husband Frank of Concordia; a sister Kay Anderson and husband Roy of Concordia, and nieces and nephews; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandsons and one on the way. He was preceded by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial was this morning, Sept. 24, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, with Fr. Barry Brinkman, celebrant. Burial was in Concordia Catholic Cemetery.
