Ronald Dean Goddard, 74, died Thursday, June 11th at his home in Jamestown Kansas following a brief illness. He was born September 17, 1940 at Delpohos, KS. to Wilfred "Wayne" and Elva Maxine (Alderson) Goddard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Donald Goddard, step-father Art Copple, and granddaughter Sara Goddard. Ron is survived by his wife Alice, children: Selena (Brian) Kindall, Larry, and Celeste (Mike) Lyons all of Minneapolis, Kansas; Johnny (Karen) of Ellsworth, Kansas; Derek (Kari) of Bonner Springs, Kansas; Justin (Christy) of Andover, Kansas and Molly of Jamestown, Kansas, eighteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, sister Sharon (Willard) Ames, brothers Roger (Vicki) Copple, John (Kris) Copple, Gary (Ruth) Copple.
A funeral service will be held Monday, June 15th at 10:30 a.m. at Concordia Wesleyan Church. Visitation is Sunday, June 14th from 1 to 8 pm with family receiving friends from 5-7 at Nutter Mortuary in Concordia.
Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery - Norway, KS.
