Richard j. Collins, Sr. of Concordia and formerly of Meeker, CO, died Oct. 16, 2013 at his home in Concordia. He was born in rural Cloud County on Oct. 26, 1931, the son of James R. Collins and Bertha M. (Ruud) Collins. Richard served in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean Conflict. On October 9, 1965 he married Mary Anne Desilet.

Parents, one brother-in-law and one niece.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Nutter Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be Friday 1:00p.m. -8:00p.m. with the family receiving friends 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Meadowlark Hospice or V.A. Home Based Health Care.
