Myrna Sue Koehn Campbell, 86, of Concordia, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022, in the home of her daughter.
Myrna was born in McPherson, KS on August 20, 1935 along with her twin sister, Marcia, to Alexander and Lois Koehn. She graduated from Salina High School in 1954 and then attended Marymount College in Salina, where she graduated from nurse’s training.
She married Frank Campbell on November 24, 1957 and went to live on the Campbell farm to raise a family and help his parents’ farm. During her life she enjoyed sewing, farming, crafts, visiting friends and family and going to Twin Conventions.
Myrna is survived by her daughter, Frances Wood (Toni), Glen Elder and son, G. John Campbell (Anna), Salina. Five grandchildren: Nicholas Wood, Glen Elder; April Easterberg Plainville; Bryce Wood (Monica), McPherson; Bridget Hoeft, Omaha, NE; and Ethan Campbell, Salina. Four great-grandchildren: Jlynn Easterberg, Plainville; McKenna Hoeft, Omaha, NE; Maelyn Wood, McPherson; and Kolson Wood, McPherson. She was also survived by one brother: Louis Koehn (Joanne) Sunnyvale, CA. and one brother-in-law, Charles Johnson, Concordia. Two nephews: Don Dahlstrom (Karen) Lodi, CA; and Jim Dahlstrom (Lucy) Millbrae, CA and one niece: Jackie Wilson of Oklahoma City, OK. And many great nieces and nephews. Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Lois Koehn. One brother, Alex Koehn Jr. Two sisters: Dorothy Dahlstrom and Marcia Johnson. One great-grandson: Jace Easterberg. And two nieces: Stephanie Wilkinson, and Kathy Snyder‑Tiffany.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 19, with the family receiving friends from 5:00-7:00 pm at Nutter Mortuary.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 20 at Nutter Mortuary with Pastor Bob Burns officiating
A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Solomon Valley Hospice in Beloit KS.
