Mildred M. Vanek, age 107, of Concordia, KS., died Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Glenn Moore Meadows Nursing Home in Holton, KS.
She was born March 8, 1908 to John and Rachel Davies in Concordia, KS. Mildred married William W. Bennett in 1926. He preceded her in death in 1967. They had one daughter - Bonnie. Later Mildred married Jake Vanek.
She was a member of the Moose Lodge, Ladies of the Elks, Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge and American Legion Auxiliary all in Concordia, KS. She loved music and played the piano for all of these organizations.
