Melvin Krause, age 84, of Concordia, KS. died Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Republic County Hospital.
He was born June 24, 1929 to Paul and Emily (Malchow) Krause at Fairbury, Nebraska.
Melvin married Josie Peiride on August 25, 1951 in Naples, Italy. She preceded him in death September 21, 2011
He was a member of the VFW of Chester, NE.
He was survived by children:
Assuntina (Mario) of Naples, Italy
Tony (Sheri) Krause - Concordia, KS
Rita Vesely-Krause-Lincoln, NE
Cindy Krause-Knoxville, Tennessee
One brother - Hank Krause-Bryon, NE
15 Grandchildren
12 Great Grandchildren
Preceded in death by: Wife, parents and 4 brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be Monday, November 25, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Living Hope Foursquare Church - 129 W. 6th - Concordia, KS, with Pastors Tina and Earl Barnett officiating.
Graveside inurnment will be in Chester Cemetery-Chester, NE at 1:30 p.m.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Nutter Mortuary.
Memorials may be given to the church.
