Loretta F. Regnier

Loretta Frances "Fran" Regnier, age 75, of Concordia, KS., died Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Republic County Hospital. She was born August 7, 1938 at Beloit, KS to Albert and Emma (Wagner) McCollough. Fran married Leo L. Regnier November 9, 1957 in Beloit, KS. They made their home in Concordia. She worked in the Food Service at Concordia High School for 27 years. The kids knew her as the "lunch lady".
Loretta always doted on her grandkids and great grandkids, often making them root beer floats after school. Nieces and nephew always called her "Aunt Frany". She was a devoted wife, mom, aunt, grandmother, and faithful loving friend. Fran loved to garden, play horseshoes, go fishing and hunting with Leo and her sons. She was often found shingling or other hard work right along with her family. Loretta and Leo often enjoyed roller skating and were a graceful sight to watch. Fran loved to bowl - earning a state championship title. She also did lots of crafts.
In her younger years, she was an accomplished musician - playing the violin and clarinet and singing since childhood. A fond memory includes all the aunts and uncles, all musicians, filling the home with wonderful gospel and holiday tunes.

4 great grandchildren: Zane Morris, Emma Brown, Kiana & Kaziah Regnier

Preceded in death by: Parents; 2 brothers - Jim & George
1 sister - Shirley Grimm
The family has chosen cremation.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Nutter Mortuary Chapel from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
