Levi Deneault

Levi Deneault, age 92, of Concordia, KS died January 27, 2013 at Sunset Home.
He was born April 5, 1920 in Concordia, KS, to Victor and Henrietta (Goyette) Deneault. He attended Concordia rural schools.
Levi was in World War II serving from November 1941 to September 1945. He served as 5th Air Force Bomber crew in South Pacific. Levi received a Purple Heart. He married Dolores Schmitt on October 22, 1947. He farmed and lived south of Concordia until moving into Concordia in 1969. He was a paint contractor/farmer until his retirement.
Levi was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Knights of Columbus and National Farmers Union.
He volunteered his services as a military member in doing military duties at funerals for over 400+ veterans.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church-Concordia, KS with Fr. Barry Brinkman officiating. Burial will be in St. Concordia Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Nutter Mortuary Chapel. Vigil/Recitation of Rosary 7:00 p.m. with Fr. Brinkman.
Memorial may be given to: Meadowlark Hospice
