Letha Ruth Shea, 92 passed away November 29, 2020 at Mt. Joseph Senior. Village in Concordia, Kansas.
Ruth was born in Chase County, Kansas to Paul E. Riggs and Hazel (Saucerman) Riggs on July 20, 1928. She attended Chase County rural schools and graduated from Cedar point High School in 1946. Ruth worked diligently all her life at a variety of jobs and found pleasure in working with the public.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters LaVern Boyer and Reva Goodwin, a brother Marion Riggs and one son, James Brigman, spouses James A Brigman, Jr., Louis Dyer and Thomas Shea.
Ruth is survived by her son Greg Brigman, Waco, Texas, daughter, Janet Weathersbee, Concordia, Kansas and five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and multiple family and friends.
There will be no visitation or services at this time. Inurnment will be in Dewey, Oklahoma at a later date. Nutter Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be given to Letha Ruth Shea Memorial Fund or Meadowlark Hospice.
