Glenda S. Nelson

Glenda Sue (Woodman) Nelson, age 70, of Concordia, Kansas, formerly of Jamestown died Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Cloud County Health Center. She was born May 3, 1943 to Glen and Marie (Kasl) Woodman at Belleville, KS. Glenda married Jim Nelson on December 3, 1966 at Concordia, KS.
She was a member of Jamestown United Methodist Church; sang in the choir and was a greeter; a member of Rebekah Lodge for 25 years and VFW Auxillary.
Glenda is survived by 4 sons:
Martin (Lucila) - Concordia, KS
Tony - Concordia, KS
James Eric (Justine) - Cordell, OK
Glenn Charles (Theresa) - Jamestown, KS
11 Grandchildren 2 great grandchildren
Many friends & relatives.
Preceded in death by Husband - Jim December 22, 2012,; parents, 1 sister, and 1 granddaughter.
Funeral Services will be Monday, February 10, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Jamestown United Methodist Church with Randy Whitey officiating.
Burial will be in Saron Baptist Cemetery - rural Jamestown.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Nutter Mortuary Chapel from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. with family present from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Memorials may be given to Glenda Nelson Memorial Fund to be designated at a later date.
