Eugene L. Andersen

Eugene Andersen, age 97, of Concordia, KS., formerly of Jamestown died Friday, November 15, 2013.
He was born December 9, 1915, at Buffalo Gap, S.D. to Lawrence and Florence (Rold) Andersen. He lived in California, until he moved to Jamestown in the 80's to be closer to his daughter.
Eugene loved photography and was a member of the Selma Camera Club. He took a lot of pictures of his family and nature. He also enjoyed gardening; growing vegetables and flowers; liked bowling on a league with his sons and friends; doing crossword puzzles; watching sports; reading and fishing.
He is survived by his children:
Larry (Marilyn) Andersen - Ceres, CA
Donna (Ritch) Farrell - Concordia, KS
Clayton (Debbie) Andersen - Stevenson, CA
daughter-in-law - Sandra Andersen - Durant, 0K
11 Grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, Several great great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by:
parents and 3 brothers: Marvin, Duane & Glen
1 son - Dennis Andersen
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Nutter Mortuary from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with family present from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Graveside Services will be Friday, November 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Memorial Park - Selma, CA.
Memorials will be given to: Marquis Place or Sunset Home.
