Etta Marie Dochow

Etta Marie Dochow, age 78, of Concordia, Kan., died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at Mt. Joseph Senior Village.
She was born Sept. 18, 1937, to Octave and Etta (Chaput) Istas at Aurora, Kan. She graduated from Concordia High School in 1955. She married Loren Dochow Sept. 24, 1955.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie (Kevin) Honeycutt, Concordia, Kan., and Lorna (Dave) Chestnut, Salina, Kan.; grandchildren: Lori Dodson, Jeni Johnson, Misty Witenberg, Mandi Paquette, Kristin and Chad Hofstetter; and 11 great-grandchildren; brother: Verle Istas; sisters: Gladys Peterson, Theresa Peltier and Ella Mae Kimmal; special friend: Paul Rimovsky; brothers-in-law: Jerry Dochow, Gene Dochow; sister-in-law: Carol Creely,
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren; parents; infant daughter, Carol; son, Brad; sisters: Neoma Clark, Clara Crum, Pauline Edwards and Marcelene Buckley; brothers: Pat Istas, Art Istas, Bill Istas, Francis (Buck) Istas, Melvin Istas and Eldon Istas; and son-in-law, Larry Rittel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, Kan., with Fr. Brian Lager, celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Concordia Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, from 1-8 p.m; Vigil at 6 p.m. at Nutter Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m.
Memorials may be given to POW Camp Concordia or Solomon Valley Hospice.
