Edna Mae Christianson

Edna Hartsock Christianson passed away May 14, 2021at the age of 103. She was born May 5th, 1918 to Dale and Mary (Jesse) Benjamin.

In 1941 she married Colin Hartsock who preceded her in death on November 18, 1998.  They were parents of 2 sons Leon and Garret.

In later life, on Feb. 20, 2005 she married Richard J. Christianson who preceded her in death on Oct.28, 2014.

Edna is survived by son Leon, one sister, Edith Campbell of Spokane Valley, WA., sister-in-law Imal Hartsock of Guthrie, OK, several of Richard’s siblings, Wanda Hartsock, mother of Leon’s children, Marsha, Dale, and Joy, as well as many great-grand and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.  .

She was preceded in death by sisters Avis Leach, Mary Anne Nelson, Donna Lee Bray, brother Jesse (Bud) Krouse, both husbands, son Garret, daughter-in-laws Diana, Garret’s wife, Pam, Leon’s wife and great-great grandchildren Raylynn and Kyler Gardner.

She made her choice to serve the Lord at a young age and has been true to that choice until death.

Edna always had a pleasant smile for everyone she met.  She will be missed by many.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday May 18th at 10:00am at Nutter Mortuary.

Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, KS
