Douglas W. Swihart

Douglas W. Swihart, Concordia, died Aug. 17, 2012 at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, KS. He was 80 years old.
Doug was born May 30, 1932 at Concordia, KS, the son of George H. Swihart and Elizabeth A. Sweeting Swihart. Doug was retired as the manager of the Concordia Moose Lodge. He served in the U.S. Air Force Oct. 11, 1950-Oct. 10, 1954.
In 1959 he married Evelyn Tremblay at Beatrice, NE. She preceded him in death Jan. 29, 1997.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Nutter Mortuary, Concordia. Visitation will be Monday 1:00 p.m. with family receiving friends 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Nutter Mortuary.
Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia
