Dorothy Faye Spear

Dorothy Faye Spear, 83, Concordia resident, passed away February 27, 2021, at Sunset Home. She was born October 16, 1937, at Gatesville, Texas. The daughter of Howard Baker and Lenna Wiegand Baker. Dorothy was a farmer and rancher. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Concordia. She served on the Morrison Cemetery Board, Election Board at the Silver Arrow School House. A member of E. H. U. (Extension Homemaker Unit).
She is survived by two children, two sons Billy L. Spear and wife Karen, Concordia, KS, David L. Spear and wife Melinda, Concordia, KS. One brother Clarence Baker of Levita, TX. Three sister, Minnie Kinsley, Fort Worth, TX, Shirley Penny, McGregor, TX, Mildred Adams, Gatesville, TX. Four grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by husbands, Alvin L. Spear 1992 and Clifford A. Spear 2006. Also proceeded in death by parents, one brother and one sister.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday March 9, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Nutter Mortuary, with Pastor Randy Whitley officiating.
Visitation will be Monday March 8, 2021 at Nutter Mortuary 1:00 p.M.-8:00 P.M. With family receiving friends 5:00- 7:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers Memorials are suggested to The Cloud County Food Bank, located at the Cloud County Resource Center.
Inurnment will be Elmwood Cemetery, Beloit, KS.
