Delmar Eugene "Gene" Genereux
March 14, 1947 — December 3, 2016
Delmar Eugene “Gene” Genereux, 69, went to be with his Lord December 3, 2016 in Concordia. He was born March 14, 1947, the son of Arthur and Vivian (Caywood) Genereux. He graduated from Agenda High School. On September 2 , 1970 he married Barbara Ann Kesl in Iwakuni , Japan, while serving in the Marine Corps.
He is survived by: wife, Barb; daughter, Lauri Coke of Lincoln, Nebraska., sons, Darin Genereux of Manhattan, and Travis Genereux of Concordia; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, at Nutter Mortuary, Concordia. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.
Celebration of Life services will be at 10:30 a.m. December 8, at Nutter Mortuary Chapel with Military graveside honors by VFW Post #588 and American Legion Post #76 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to: Heart Choices, or Salina Rescue Mission in care of the mortuary.
