Cleora Sue (Burke) Cooper

Cleora Cooper 82, of Wichita, KS passed away on August 18, 2023. Cleora was born to Cleo and Fern Burke May 19, 1941, in Wichita, KS. She completed the family with her older brother Charles being 3 years old when Cleora arrived. She was a graduate of Wichita West Highschool class of 1959.

Cleora was the mother to 4 children, George her oldest and only son, Kimberly, Tamara, and Susan.  She married the love of her life Wally Cooper April 11, 1998. They lived their lives deeply in love and together as much as possible.

Cleora was predeceased in death by her parents Fern and Cleo Burke, great grandson Ethan Stimpson, and sons in law David Stimpson and Tom Ricke.

Cleora left behind her adoring husband Wally Cooper, brother Charles (Sharon) Burke, and children George (Michelle) Hammond, Kimberly Stimpson, Tamara Potter (Roy Raney), Susan (Brandon) Bacon, Barbara (Jeff) Moos, Theodore (Sue) Cooper, Carl Cooper, Wally (Christy) Cooper Jr, Theresa Ricke, Angel Cooper, 16 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday August 22, 2023 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, Wichita, KS.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday August 23, 2023 at 10:00am at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, Wichita, KS.

Burial will follow at the Whitewater Cemetery, Whitewater, KS.
