Carol E. Chartier

Carol E. Chartier, 76, Concordia, died Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Sunset Home. Carol was born December 20, 1939 at rural Concordia, Kansas, the daughter of Lester E. Duvall and Mary G. (Davis) Duvall. She married Norman L. Chartier June 23, 1957. He preceded her in death March 7, 2004.

Carol was a retired Nursery Aide at St. Joseph Hospital for many years. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, former member of Women of the Moose and Lady Elks.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Nutter Mortuary. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Nutter Mortuary 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Morrison Cemetery southwest of Concordia.

Memorials may be made to the Rebecca A. Morrison House – Salina, Kansas or to The American Cancer Society.
