Bryant Thurston

Bryant Thurston, 93, of Jamestown, died Sunday, March 27, 2016, in Salina. He was born Dec. 3, 1922, in Concordia to Bryant Earl and Dorothy (Kennett) Thurston. He married Ella Fraser on Nov. 7, 1949. He farmed and raised cattle on a farm near Jamestown. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1942-46. Survivors: daughter, Ann Thurston, of Cary, N.C.; son, Lee Thurston, of Glasco; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Thurston, of Concordia; and grandchildren, Jon Jr., Travis and Jessica Thurston. Preceded in death: wife, Ella; son, Jon Thurston; infant daughter; and brother, Dudley Thurston. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Nutter Mortuary Chapel, Concordia.
