Betty M. Householter, age 85, of Concordia, KS, died Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Mt. Joseph's Sr. Village.
Betty was born August 5, 1926 to Albert & Elsie (Barker) Beden at Downs, KS. She graduated from Concordia High School in 1944. Betty married Max Minard in October 1946. Four children came to this union. In 1975 she married Leo Householter.
Betty was an LPN and worked at St. Joseph Hospital. She & Leo managed the V.F.W. in Concordia and owned and operated the West Side Inn CafAC.. Later she worked for Larson's Liquor Store E DeBauche's Liquor Store.
Betty is survived by: Daughter - Kay Stebbins & husband Arliss Lawrence, KS; Sons: Joe Minard & wife Trish Wichita, KS, Scott Minard & wife Laurie Katy, Texas; Sister Ruth Alkire - Concordia, KS 12 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren
Proceeded in death by: husband - Leo Householter; daughter - Mary Leasure & husband Gary; grandson- Chris Minard; great grandson - Aaron Minard
Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Nutter Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Jeff Nielsen officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Visitation Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Nutter Mortuary.
Memorials may be given to Handicapped Children (Bea's Kids).
