Alma Istas Thompson Law

Age 100, of Belleville, KS., formerly of Clifton, KS., died Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Belleville Health Care Center.
She was born April 3, 1913 in rural Clyde, KS. to Joe & Nalda (Benoit) Istas.
Alma was a homemaker, a member of the Faith United Presbyterian Church Clifton, KS., a member of the Historical Society, Senior Citizen Center, quilting circle and Sherman Club. Her greastest joy was her family, quilting for others and growing flowers.
Alma married Earl Thompson, November 16, 1931. He preceded her in death November 6, 1953. She married Ray Law September 3, 1962. He preceded her in death March 5, 1973.
Survivors: 1 son - Gene (Suzanne) Thompson - Clay Center, KS
2 daughters - Arlene Credeur - Slidell, Louisiana
Lois (Gary) Nutter - Belleville, KS
10 grandchildren 24 great-grandchildren 7 great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: parents, husbands, 3 brothers, 1 sister.
Funeral Services will be Monday, January 6, 2014 at the Faith United Presbyterian Church-Clifton, KS at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Franklyn Schroeder officiating. Visitation noon until time of service at the church. Burial in the Vining Cemetery, Vining, KS.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Nutter Mortuary Chapel from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Memorial may be given to: Faith United Presbyterian Church or Belleville Health Care Center Nursing Staff
