Alberta W. Smith, age 99, of Concordia, KS, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Sunset Nursing Home.
She was born February 7, 1917 to Joseph Howard and Mabel Margaret (Murphy) Yeager in Green, KS.
Alberta married Stanley Avery on December 29, 1942. He preceded her in death in 1965. She married Howard Smith April 19, 1969. He preceded her in death February 3, 2014.
Alberta is survived by: step-daughter - Diana Kay Grubb , Wichita, KS
one sister – Lorraine Bramwell – Concordia, KS
She donated her body to the K.U. Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas for Anatomical Research.
Inurnment will be at a later date.
Memorials may be given to Sunset Nursing Home in care of the Mortuary.
